When I was a boy, my mom and grandparents would take me to McKinley Memorial Park all the time to run and/or walk around the track. My favorite part was that every 100 yards or so, there would be some sort of exercise station… and I just had to use every single one. It’s a wonder we ever made a full lap.

The monument is just up the hill from the park, and it was always an amazing visit to see if I could run up the steps.
